The Elephant House, café emblématique d’Édimbourg
Situé au 21 George IV Bridge dans le quartier historique d’Édimbourg, The Elephant House a ouvert ses portes en 1995. Fondé par des passionnés, ce café est rapidement devenu un lieu mythique, notamment pour sa connexion avec l’auteure J.K. Rowling. C’est ici que l’écrivaine aurait écrit une partie des premiers tomes de Harry Potter, ce qui lui confère une place particulière dans la culture pop et littéraire. Eclectic elephant themed decoration, toilets decorated by those on the quest for the Deathly Hallows, that medieval view, $$$, and coffee and hot chocolate as drunk by Rowling.
