"Bib Gourmand 2025 The exterior pays homage to New York's beloved bodegas, but the light-filled interior has a crisp, modern vibe thanks to glossy blonde wood tables, exposed brick walls and a small, polished bar that's perfect for both solo diners and couples. This bright little spot aims to showcase Taiwan's culinary landscape with a fresh perspective. Don't miss briny clams in a thick bath of Shaoxing rice wine, bobbing with cubes of butternut squash and red kabocha. This may be paired with soft bao-their unique twist is as addictive as it is sloppy-and tailed by thick and chewy zha jiang mian (noodles simmered with tender lamb, chili oil, and Sichuan peppercorn). A word to the wise: scallion pancakes accompany a host of items here, so skip the appetizer order."

"UVA guys started, famous chicken sandwich….. Soft glowing review…i really loved everything we had, leaned slightly more veggies (cucs and pea shoots were amazing), pork dumplings and mussels and chicken sando also rly good but lacked a bit of acidity/balance I thought…liked everything but not something i would crave regularly…cold weather made a particular perfect for tonight…Also you know how there is that annoyingly rude type of manhattan waiter with the too cool to care attitude…the win son staff were bk’s answer to this, too cool for any kind of dress code and uninvested in your food journey/experience "
