"Car-free and sitting pretty at 1,638 meters above sea level, Mürren is what happens when Swiss efficiency meets vertigo-inducing views. This Alpine village faces the famous Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks across the valley. The only ways up involve a cable car or a scenic train ride that’ll have you gripping your seat. Traditional wooden chalets line the handful of streets, their flower boxes overflowing with geraniums that somehow thrive in the thin mountain air. In winter, skiers swoosh past on slopes that drop straight into the valley below. Summer brings hikers tackling trails that lead to even higher viewpoints, because apparently the regular views aren’t quite dramatic enough for some people."

"Mürren-Schilthorn comporte 54 km de pistes alpines. Mais aussi des pistes de luge. Et des chemins pour les raquettes. Le visiteur le plus célèbre du village ? James Bond ! Des scènes du film "Au service secret de Sa Majesté" ont en effet été tournées au restaurant du Schilthorn. Un restaurant accessible en téléphérique, à 2 976 m. Sa particularité ? Il tourne doucement sur son axe pour mieux admirer la vue spectaculaire sur les géants suisses : Eiger, Mönch et Jungfrau…"
